I have finished my first item from my Christmas list! Woo-hoo!!! =)
Fetching:
Pattern: Fetching from knitty.com
Yarn/Needle used: Caron Simple Soft size 4mm needles
Other notes: I have never done a cable cast on before, so that was new.
Easy to knit, it knitted up very quickly and I did most of it not even at home. I was a bit nervous about the thumb area, but that was also very easy too! Yeah! I am even thinking of making a pair for myself. They are fabulous!
One project down and I am SO very excited about it - it's not even Halloween yet. For sure, this is the earliest I've ever completed a Christmas present before. Woo-hoo!
Tomorrow, I will be looking around for what to make next!
Remember, if you too are doing a homemade Christmas (or even just a partial homemade Christmas), sign up here! My little list would like to be a bit longer! =)
