I also made a batch of hats for another friend.
She too needed the hats because of the side effects of cancer.
[Side note: cancer sucks]
She requested autumn colors, and maybe an orange that doesn't look like a pumpkin.
She also asked for one hat. So I knit her one. Then another. And another. Because I didn't want one hat to get lonely while being shipped!
And my bald head loves each and every one of them. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteYes, CA does suck. BUT it IS survivable!!!!! Chemo sapped my energy so I made hats!!! LOTS of hats. The best are soft with a close stitch. cotton is good. And Carol Anne, We are women, we are strong and this too shall pass....I m 1 yr from my last treatment...and you should SEE my hair ;)
DeleteThose are gorgeous, Brandie! I love that you use your knitting for good and not for evil. ;)
