So this weekend, okay, well Saturday late night/Sunday early am, I finished a skirt for my cousin. She wanted to wear it fir Easter and didn't finish (I think I mentioned I was helping her). So I finished it for her. My dh said I was a truly generous person because deciding to make her skirt meant I couldn't finish my skirt. Well, I don't buy that, especially since I did grumble about it a bit LOL!
Anyway, the kicker of it all - it was too short so she didn't wear it anyway. Ugh. Seriously bummed about that. I didn't cut the pieces though, so not my fault (see, that quick to not take any blame - shoots my dhs theory right out the window).
And I forgot to take pictures of it, so I have nothing to show for it. Oh well.
I have made some progress on my baby cardi. Started to cut out pieces for my knitting needle holder. If I could find more than 2 minutes to work on it, I would finish quickly. It truly is a simple pattern ... a few pieces of fabric and then, stitch a few straight lines to create pockets for needles and ta-da! But my children have a sensor in them that goes off whn I try to work on anything these days LOL!!!
And oh yeah, in addition to wanting to learn to do a bit of gardening, I have decided to learn about photography too. Which of course my dh was thrilled to hear about. He's a good sport though. He has learned to just kind of nod his head and smile and then start wishing that it doesn't cost too much money LOL!
Your hubby and mine are cut from the same cloth. In addition to my hobbies of cooking, bloggin, reading, scrapbboking, quilting, sewing, and photography, two weeks ago I wanted to learn to knit. His comment? "Great, Zo. All you need is another hobby!" He was THRILLED when I came home with only one row cast on and no hope for improvement!
