Out of ideas ...

My dear readers,

I never thought I'd say this, but I feel like I'm out of things to talk about. Or that I'm to the point where I'd just be saying the same thing over and over again. I think my brain is just a bit fried right now.

So I'm asking for your help. Please, I beg of you, leave me some questions in the comments area. I'll answer them over the next few posts. They can be about anything at all. I mean anything. If I don't like it, I just won't answer! Ha ha! =) Although I can't think off the top of my head what I wouldn't answer, so I doubt that will be an issue.

Anyway, hope everyone is having a great day. Leave me questions. It would make my day =)

  1. Ok there chicky, how old were you when you decided you liked knitting? My mom is crafty and my sisters me not so much. Mom tried to teach me several times to knit and i just plain suck at it. So when did you know you liked it?

  2. What was your first thought when you were diagnosed? Did you have any idea how hard this would be on you and your family? Is there anything that you would do differently now if you could? What advice would you give to the newly diagnosed and those that care for them?

  3. Dang, Erika stole my question. So, I'll ask this: what made you decide to homeschool? How did you know you'd be good at it? And as your kids get older, how do you deal with the subjects you don't know as much about as you need to? (If there are any such; I am embarrassed to admit how young my son was when I was no longer able to help him with his math homework just out of my own head.)

  4. Have you ever thought of opening an Etsy shop? What do you need most as a cancer patient undergoing chemo? Do you need more help or just a listening ear? How have your kids changed since you started treatment? How are your parents handling it?

  5. I was actually thinking about this all day, so I'm glad you said to ask, cuz I'm going to. You said your mom got your son ready for school because you had chemo. Do you drive yourself to chemo? Is that possible? Or must someone be there with you?

  6. What was your wedding like? Big or small? Were you engaged for a long while, or less than a few months? Do you still like the dress you wore? Are you in contact with your bridesmaids or groomsmen?

  7. If you could live in any time period (besides the current one), which would it be?

Have you met others undergoing treatment (like at your chemo appointments), and if so, what are the ways you support each other? What has been the biggest surprise about your diagnosis and treatment? What would you say to someone newly diagnosed with breast cancer? Lastly, how are your kids holding up through all of this? ((Hugs))) to you Brandie. I admire your courage, determination & honesty. xo Chris, San Diego

I would like to know if you are working on any current projects. I also would like to know what one thing you enjoy eating or drinking right now, or has all enjoyment of food and rink temperarily gone away?

  14. Hey Brandie! I just launched my own website for night sky enthusiasts: OneDarkSky.com. I'm looking to add more content and have an "Articles" section I'd like to start building up. I was wondering if you'd have any interest in writing something for my site that you could cross-post on your blog. I know your blog doesn't have anything to do with astronomy, but my site has a lot to do with getting people interested in a particular subject. I'm sure with being a teacher, you have to try to get your kids interested in subjects all the time. I'm thinking maybe a write-up with tips and tricks on getting kids (and people in general) interested in certain topics (like space, stars, planets, solar system, etc). Let me know if there's any interest. Thanks!!!
